ADVERTISING SALES - NAB

The Newspaper Advertising Bureau (NAB) is a division of Caxton and CTP Publishers & Printers. The division, with offices in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban, represents Caxton Newspapers for national advertising sales.

Therefore NAB's main function is to link national clients (advertising/ media agencies or in-house marketing/ media departments) with all the individual community newspaper offices.

Each local newspaper has a local sales force that service the local small and medium sized businesses from their respective areas.

NAB represents 150 of Caxton's community newspapers. These community newspapers are available across South Africa as free or sold publications and together they have a print order of approximately 3.6 million copies per week.

Community newspapers are an effective communication channel reaching 3.6 million people every week. Due to the intrinsics of these newspapers as a media type; many large corporates and national retailers use community newspapers to get their brands, stores and offers in the hands and in the minds of potential buyers week after week. NAB helps national advertisers in selecting the appropriate community newspaper schedule to reach all their appropriate current and prospective buyers.

NAB Africa is a specialised division of NAB that was established to represent newspapers that fall outside of the borders of South Africa. 14 publications are currently represented in countries such as Namibia, Swaziland, Botswana, Mozambique, Zambia and Lesotho - offering a print order of over 330,000 copies per week.
